ABOUT ME:

My name is Arthur Mcguigan and I have been a fully qualified Driving Instructor since 1999.
It has been my aim from the outset to become the very best Driving Instructor that I can. In order to help me achieve this objective I have not stood still within an ever changing industry.
Instead, I have invested both my own time and money in several advanced training courses to help improve my instructional skills and practical teaching ability.

GRADE 6 DRIVING INSTRUCTOR:
This is the highest grade a driving instructor can achieve. To put this into perspective, of the 54,000 driving instructors working in the United kingdom today, less than 6% are grade 6.

GRADE 6 ORDIT REGISTERED DRIVING INSTRUCTOR TRAINER:
I have been successfully training driving instructors since 2004. GRADE 6 FLEET TRAINER, HIGHLY EXPERIENCED :
I have worked in the fleet sector since mid 2004 and currently less than 10% of all driving instructors hold this advanced qualification.
This fleet diploma enables me to work with individual companies to deliver defensive driving courses to their company drivers, thereby satisfying the company's duty of care to that employee under the health and safety at work laws.

NVQ LEVEL 3: NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION IN DRIVING INSTRUCTION:
I have recently completed this advanced qualification to ensure that my own professional development is kept up to date.

ADI CHECK TEST PREPARATION:
This service is available to Driving Instructors who would like to upgrade on their next Check Test or simply improve their teaching techniques.

As well as all of the advanced training that I am involved in, I still enjoy working with learner drivers and developing their driving skills to the upper limit of each individual pupils potential.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED FEMALE INSTRUCTORS:
I am also extremely pleased to announce that A-plus now also offers driving lessons with very highly qualified female driving instructors in Coatbridge, Airdrie, Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas.

WHY TRAIN WITH A-PLUS ?

With literally hundreds of driving schools and instructors covering Coatbridge and Airdrie to choose from it can be very difficult to find a really good instructor, indeed, it is highly likely that you may even be attracted by the offer of cheap lesson prices, rather than the teaching ability of the driving instructor.
However, please be aware that it is so much easier to be taught to drive correctly in the first place than it is to undergo re-training, especially when bad driving habits have been allowed to develop over time as a result of previous poor instruction.

There really is no such thing as cheap driving lessons, the price will always rise after the initial deal ends, however, the skill of the instructor will not.

A highly skilled instructor will not only get you through your driving test in far less time, and in far fewer test attempts, which will actually save you many hundreds of pounds in the long run, you will also go on to be a far safer and aware driver, which could save your life.

Whether you require training to pass your driving test, or you are seeking a career change and would like to become a driving instructor yourself, then your success will ultimately depend on the skill and teaching ability of the trainer that you choose.
